Super Mario Bros 3 gets 3DS launched in Japan

Super Mario lovers for Japan here are the great news for them. The classic Super Mario Bros. plat formers have helped shape the very nature of the video gaming medium. Nintendo have a gigantic pride in their tradition and, as user most likely knows, are always keen to get the classics out on all their hardware to convince the retro crowd.

The game will cost a cool 500 yen, which is about $5.80. That's a small price to pay for what's one of the maximum Mario games approximately. Dan is convinced that Super Mario World is better, but every sane person knows that Super Mario Bros. 3 is the somewhat improved game.

This iteration of the game wills feature downloads play for up to two players. No information was given about what modes the download play will be utilized in, but it will likely be used in the Mario Bros. two player mode.

Super Mario Bros 3 was later launched for SNES as part of the Super Mario All-Stars collection and later the Game Boy Advance and wii via Virtual Console. Nintendo is yet to confirm whether the title will be released for 3DS in the UK and US markets.

Unhappily, it looks like it's not the GBA version of the game, which means it's the same version you've played a million times before. Even so, my wife and I have compressed it yearly for many years, so having this classic on the go isn't a bad thing. That is, if a western release is in the cards.
