Asus FonePad launched In India for Rs. 15,999

Asus has released FonePad in India after hinting at its launch last week. The tablet that was declared at MWC this year, will retail for a price tag of Rs 15,999 in the country

A quick ramshackle on the specifications, the FonePad features a 7-inch HD IPS display with a 1280×800 pixels resolutions that stacks up a 216 ppi. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 chipset, PowerVR GC540 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 16 or 32 GB internal memory option which can further be expanded with a microSD card. On the camera side, it includes a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera with 720p HD video recording capability.
