Idea Cellular to launch Android 4.0 Smartphone 'Whiz' for Rs. 7,850

Telecom service provider Idea Cellular has released another budget Android Smartphone Idea Whiz with a price tag of Rs. 7,850. The phone has been listed on Idea Cellular's website.

Idea Whiz comes with a 4-inch WVGA display. Under the hood, it has a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage of which 1.5GB is user accessible. The storage can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The dual-SIM Idea Whiz sports 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and VGA front camera.

Idea in its website says it is offering 3G data benefits and free Idea TV subscription for the first 3 months with a recharge of Rs 261. The states where it is obtainable are- AP, Gujarat, HP, Haryana, J&K, Kerela, Maharashtra, MP, UP (W) & UP (E) circles. For rest of the circles 2G data benefits available.
