Airtel had paying Rs.3,314.36 crore for high-speed broadband service- Broadband Wireless Access(BWA) in Kolkata, Maharashtra, Punjab and Karnataka in 2010.

For take the entry in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala last year Airtel has acquired 49percent stake in US telecom major Qualcomm inc's Indian 4G venture Wireless Business Services. Qualcomm had paid Rs.4912 crore to win the BWA license for the four cities.

Reliance Jio Infocomm won 20 Mhz slot for pan-india BWA spectrum for Rs.12847.71 crore. The planning of Airtel has acquired 51 percent stake in WBS.

After launches the 4G plan in Delhi Airtel will Launch 4G services in Mumbai and for this Services Company has make collaboration with Huawei and ZTE for network.

4G mobile internet technology gives download speed up to 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) and gives 1Gigabites per second (Gbps) speed at a fixed location.
