Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.2-inch display, Android 4.3 launched

Samsung has introduced their Galaxy Grand Smartphone with a new, higher resolution screen and a more powerful processor. The 5.25" display has been upgraded from the 800 x 480 resolution on the first Grand to 1,280 x 720 on the Grand 2.

It comes with support for Samsung's Multi Window feature that allows multitasking on the device’s large screen. The processing speed has been stepped up as the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and there's a healthy 1.5GB of RAM on board. It runs on Android 4.3, and there is no word on whether it will get Android KitKat.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 rear side has got the same faux leather finishing as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Smartphone. No word about the price and availability in India. The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will be obtainable in 3 colors – White, Pink and Black.
