Vodafone launches music streaming and download service

Vodafone announced a new music streaming and downloading facility for the mobile users. This latest service known as Vodafone Music, is available on Android platform as well as Web browser. Vodafone says it will provide this feature on other mobile platforms shortly. This service is powered by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Vodafone Music service comes with music features such as audio and video streaming & downloads and also have advance search option. Vodafone also allows users to personalize their experience by creating playlist of their favourite songs, adding widgets, managing their accounts and some other facilities. Vodafone plans to release the new service with including features like cloud sync, radio, playlist sharing and predictive search.

Users can use unlimited music and video for no additional content charges. The user who wants to download content, is available via Pay Go tariff for Rs. 3 per single song, pay value for Rs. 10 per 5 songs and also pack scheme start at Rs. 99 per month, Rs. 29 per week and Rs.5 per day for unlimited downloads. This service of Vodafone is also set to compete against other streaming services such as Dhingana, Gaana and Saavan.
