How to clear Application (App) Data Cache in Android

If you have an own Android device and lots of apps installed on it, you want to delete the data Cache of various Applications, in order to free up some space on external or internal storage of your device.

To remove the Application data Cache in Android is very simple. If you need to remove Cache, follow these steps:

Step 1: On the home screen of Android device, tap the menu button and go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications.

Step 2: Here choose the ALL Tab and you can see list of all apps of android which you download and installed via Google Play Store or by .apk files along with those application which came pre-installed with your Android Device.

Step 3: Select the Application whose Data Cache you want to clear. You will be displayed with the following screen.

Step 4: Tap the Clear Cache Button and the Android OS will remove the cache files of any particular Application. If you also wants to clear all stored data of any particular application, tap the clear data button. After you tap clear data button, you will be displayed with the following conformation message.

If you clear the cache of any installed application on your device, all saved and stored information will be clear out like browser history, saved password.
