Micromax unveils LapTab with Android and Windows OS


India's largest Smartphone maker company Micromax will launch its new dual boot tablet device. The company made a showing at the world's largest technology showcase event, CES 2014 in Las Vegas. This Laptab can boot into both Android Jelly Bean as well as Windows 8.1 operating system.

The Micromax dual boot Canvas Laptab provides 10.1 inches display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The device runs on 1.4 GHz Celeron processor and 2GB of RAM. Laptab also offers 32 GB internal storage. It has a 7400 mAh battery backup which should provide better performance.

The Laptab also has a 2MP front camera with an ambient light sensor but it doesn't have a rear camera. The memory storage is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The device also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi for internet connectivity. The company has not yet announced a cellular model till now.

The Laptab is also known as 'Transleeve' which can be used as a cover or a stand for wireless keyboard with an additional 230 mAh battery. The device is also available across e-commerce sites.
