The MIM process is favored for mass production of devices with complicated industrial designs because it allows components to take on special shapes of iDevice. MIM made external design of components and previously they only used to be found inside a device, Since surface treatment have become an important part.

Manufacturers will have to satisfy Apple's demand of Quality and also production quality before the company can think of launching the iWatch. It they are able to solve the production issues, the iWatch might be launched by the second session of 2014.
