Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to be showcased at CES 2014

South Korean Smartphone giant Samsung has announced Galaxy Camera 2 at IFA last year. The company will be showcasing the camera at CES in Las Vegas next week.

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 comes with a 16.3 megapixel and 21x optical zoom. The device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and 1.6GHz quad core processor. The Galaxy Camera powered by 2 GB of RAM. This camera device has 8GB internal storage and expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy Camera provides connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. Interestingly, there is no mention about 3G and LTE connectivity. There is no word if Samsung will launch a Galaxy Camera 2 variant with cellular connectivity. The price of Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is not declare yet.

Executive Vice President and Head of the Business Team, Myoung Sup Han said "People love Galaxy Camera and this next generation device was designed to improve on the successful processor, new features will improve the photography experience." he also added "The result is a more powerful and portable device which continues to embrace the public's passion for the social features of Smartphone’s, yet also provides superior image control and quality".
